Cesky Krumlov: One of the prettiest cities I’ve seen in Europe in a while!

Always enjoyed Europe for the incredible number of tiny picturesque towns scattered all over the continent, from tiny villages hosting a few hundred people, to full-blown castle towns. Cesky Krumlov is basically both of them, having a very colorful central European town, with a Castle overlooking it! Walking around town is just amazing, especially when you are lucky enough to have a snowy day and its dozen viewpoints change completely! In This Article…1 A Beautiful Christmas Market2 Castle Gardens3 One of the prettiest cities in Western Europe4 Cesky Krumlov In Pictures A Beautiful Christmas Market The Christmas market was really cute, serving traditional Czech & Hungarian desserts, like the infamous Chimeny Cake (Locally called Trdelnik in Czech), and Sweet wine at a much cheaper price than in Germany. I also enjoyed the small decoration on all the houses in the center, as well as the music in the main square, all day long. Castle Gardens the castle gardens are also spectacular! Just so well maintained, […]

Saudi Arabia Quietly Welcome Canadian Tourists to Visit the Kingdom for the First Time in History

With the recent political clashes between Canada and Saudi Arabia back in November 2018 over humans rights, with Saudi Arabia striking back by shutting down relations between the two countries, coming to the Kingdom was pretty much out of range for most Canadians. There has been no official warm up in the relations, but suddenly the government of Saudi Arabia quietly added Canada to its list of countries who can visit the country under its new “Sharek Tourist Visa”! This is great news for Canadian travelers and even for the relations between the two countries! At the time of writting, this has not yet been reported by news outlet or officially by neither govemenents.  Actually I don’t even think the officials actually know about this prior to this article… and I pretty much found it by luck! So a new country is now available for Canadians to travel! and I’d recommend you take advantage of this Visa before the situation changes, yet again… So here […]

What to do in 3 Days in Sibenik, Croatia – An Underrated city soon to be recognized internationally

Halfway between the two Damlatian Stars of Split and Zadar stands Sinebik, a well underated city that still attracts a quarter of the attention as the others. This also means it is a great time to visit Sibenik before it catches up on the higer prices on food and accomodation you will find in most popular cities. But this is likely to change very soon so I would hurry up to get there as soon as possible if I were you. Visiting Warsaw, Newly Rebuilt Capital of Poland

If there is one thing to admire about Warsaw, it is its tenacity to rebuild again and again after 98% of the city was destroyed during World War 2. The Germans had made it an objective to clean the whole city to the ground and not leave a single wall standing, piling the debris in a pyramid of ruins in the middle of the house to humiliate and punish the Varsovians for their uprising. And even under the Soviet rule and against communist philosophy, locals insisted to rebuild the old town exactly how it was historically, a massive project that is still ongoing over 80 years after the end of the war. Very inspiring to me… In This Article…1 Rebuilding a Capital after 98% was destroyed post WW22 Best 2 Days Itinerary in Warsaw3 Top 10 Things to do in Warsaw4 Top Rated and Recommended Cafes in Warsaw5 Top Rated and Recommended Restaurants in Warsaw6 Warsaw In Pictures7 Pin to Pinterest Rebuilding a Capital after 98% was destroyed post […]

Visiting Krakow, the Most Beautiful City in Poland

For some reason, cities that have gone through traumatic experiences and intense stress will tend to rebuild in a more creative and imaginative way, resulting in a “special city”. Think about cities like Athens or Istanbul who have had their share of invasion through the past 3000 years. Or more recently how Berlin has become a center for subculture after all it went through during the cold war. Krakow is part of this victim group, and after all the horrific events it lived during world war 2 with the Nazi camps and massive destruction, it is now flourishing in a very interesting and special way. 4 Days in Wroclaw, Rising Star of Poland’s Tourism

Just 10 years back we would hardly hear about this south-western polish city. Now it has a booming tourist industry that brings millions of visitors every year to see its beautiful Gothic and Baroque style old town, one of the best preserved in the country. This year I decided to see by myself what the hype is all about and if its worth a visit. Visiting Helsinki: is it Overrated or Worth a Visit?

When asked by people what are my worst countries I’ve been to, I always get mind-blinded by the thought of having to choose even one. Sure there are countries I prefer to others, but places I hate? I don’t really have any. People think I am usually too positive on my outlook of most cities I go, but in the case of Helsinki, I must be honest with myself: I cannot see the hype.
