Kitesurfing in Punta Chame, Panama

Whoever has already attemped to kitesurf in Central America would agree that the consistency of wind on different spots is hard to find. Costa Rica has some nice places around Bahia Salinas, but in my opinion, the best kitespot in all Central America has to be Punta Chame. I have come here repeatedly over the last years while living in Panama, and always found some charme to it. And i am sure I will continue to be part of the kitesurfing community of Punta Chame for a long time! In This Article…1 The Natural Splendor of Punta chame2 About Punta Chame3 The Dance of Wind and Water4 The Kiteboarder’s Sanctuary5 Beyond the Kite6 The Wind’s Promise7 Punta Chame, Your Ode to Freedom8 Overall impression of Punta Chame The Natural Splendor of Punta chame The place has change a lot over the years, and not necessarily in the best way. Christmas markets are starting to become very popular in the world and especially in Europe in the past decades. Announcing my 2nd Book: The World’s Most Traveled Man’s Top 60 Travel Tips

Here it is! My second book! And it’s called The World’s Most Traveled Man’s Top 60 Travel Tips. It was just launched worldwide this September 2021 and available on several platforms, in paperback and ebook format. Why so soon after just launching my first book Globetrotter, you might ask? Well simply because it comes hand in hand with Globetrotter! It’s more of a “How to” guide book, detailing ultimate tips and advice one could learn from experiencing 17 years living on the road and reaching all the countries in the world, half of a lifetime around the globe non-stop. I must admit, I saw it coming… And it happened! But I was prepared… When I first planned to write my memoir Globetrotter after reaching the 195/195 country milestone, I knew the book’s genre wouldn’t appeal to everybody. It is a biographical memoir, and in a memoir, we recount the story of a life experience, almost in a literal fictitious narrative. The writing style goes into […]

Visiting Georgia: A Paradise for Mountains, Culture, History and Wine Lovers

While it was hidden behind the soviet curtains, very little was known about Georgia,  being mostly a destination reserved for other other Soviet countries. But since the fall of the Soviet Union and since its government has taken western-aligned politics, Georgia has risen to fame, and its success is just barely starting. It’s pretty easy for a country to gain popularity as a tourist destination when you already have it all… Georgia is one of those countries that impresses me every time I come! On my first visit 5 years ago, I described it as the smallest country with the widest range of scenery a country can hold. Think mountains, beaches, valleys all in one place. Add to this a culture-packed country and thousands of years of history and you have a recipe for success! On top of this, Georgian people are known to be warm compared to other ex-soviet nations which help to get accustomized easily for first-time visitors expecting western style courtesy. In This Article…1 A […]
