Always enjoyed Europe for the incredible number of tiny picturesque towns scattered all over the continent, from tiny villages hosting a few hundred people, to full-blown castle towns. Cesky Krumlov is basically both of them, having a very colorful central European town, with a Castle overlooking it! Walking around town is just amazing, especially when you are lucky enough to have a snowy day and its dozen viewpoints change completely!

A Beautiful Christmas Market
The Christmas market was really cute, serving traditional Czech & Hungarian desserts, like the infamous Chimeny Cake (Locally called Trdelnik in Czech), and Sweet wine at a much cheaper price than in Germany. I also enjoyed the small decoration on all the houses in the center, as well as the music in the main square, all day long.
Castle Gardens
the castle gardens are also spectacular! Just so well maintained, with what resembles a labyrinth, but also its beautiful trees all around. Since we visited in December, it looked like a fall day with colourful leaves on the ground, and the next day, snowy white with a nice layer of snow on the ground.
One of the prettiest cities in Western Europe
Overall, I believe coming to Cesky Krumlov over the winter might be the best time to come, as crowds are smaller and the snow adds such a charm to this beautiful town! I definitely want to come back and spend more time here, to breathe more of its amazing style! One of the prettiest towns I have seen in a while!
